Dear Parents,
The end of year is coming close and Scoil Bhride is an extremely busy place!
Last Monday we said a sad and fond farewell to Fr Michael who moves to Duleek and Donore. Fr Michael kindly celebrated mass with us to mark the end of the year and to allow us to thank him for the hugely positive impact he has had in our school community and on our pupils.
This week is our Active Week. Unfortunately the weather has not played ball and so some parts will be postponed until next week.
School reports will be available this Friday late afternoon via Aladdin Connect. If you have not downloaded the app you will need to do so to access reports.
Today we have our very first graduation from Coisceimeanna. It is a very special occasion for the pupils and for the school.
As you know Scoil Bhride is a 12-classroom school. As a result of this there are always years when we have mixed classes. E mails were sent last week to parents of pupils who will be in rearranged classes. Regardless of which class pupils are allocated to, each of their educational needs are met by our Special Educational Teachers. Class arrangements for next year are as follows:
Junior Infants: Mrs McPeake
Jun/Sen Infants: MsNaughton
Senior Infants: Teacher to be confirmed
First Class: Ms McCabe
First Class: Ms Staunton and Ms Sugrue
Second Class : Ms Waring (Same teacher)
Second Class: Ms Donnellan (Ms McCabe’s class)
Third Class: Ms Keating
Third and Fourth Class: Ms McNeela
Fourth Class: Ms Gannon
Fifth Class: Mr O Reilly (Ms Ryan’s class)
Fifth Class: Mrs Durnin (Ms McNeela’s class)
Sixth Class: Teacher to be confirmed
The Parents Council are holding a disco tomorrow for juniors and seniors. Thank you to them for organising. I have attached the flier for this exciting event!
Next week we have the storyteller Niall de Burca coming visit the school.
A reminder to all parents that the school will close for a staff training session on Friday 21st June at 12pm.
Kind Regards,
Julie Dowd
