On Monday the 3rd of February, two teams representing Scoil Bhríde competed in the Dunboyne & District Credit Union Quiz in Dunboyne Castle Hotel. They had already battled stiff competition from their class mates to make it onto the Under 11s and Under 13s teams. The team members took their preparation very seriously, spending hours studying over the Christmas holidays by watching The Chase and Tipping Point! They were cheered on by their families and teachers on the night. We were very proud of their efforts, with the Under 11s team finishing as runners up and the Under 13s team coming in 1st place. The Under 13s will go forward to the next round which will be held at the end of the month. Exact dates and location to follow.
