This term the first class children were busy writing and editing. The children wrote three pieces of recount writing which they used to create their very own newspaper. We had fun browsing through the Argos and Smith’s catalogues to choose our favourite images to decorate our newspapers with. Here are some pictures of the children…

Last month the boys and girls in Ms. Keating’s class had a great time exploring other galaxies and making contact with alien life-forms in our Aistear role-play station. This month we have been back on Earth working on the theme of ‘Shopping’.

6th Class are taking part in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme this year. The programme promotes entrepreneurship in the classroom. Alex from 5th Class recently travelled to South Korea to represent Ireland’s Under 12 ice hockey team. Alex has been playing with the Irish international ice hockey team for 4 years, and playing ice hockey for 7 years.
