  • Easter Camp will run during the first week of the Easter holidays Monday to Thursday.

Literacy Lift Off:

  • Literacy Lift Off will take place in 3rd class after the Easter break.

  • Thank you to the Parents Council for organising a very successful Fresh Fruit Friday. The pupils loved it.

Punctuality:

  • Thank you for your support with punctuality. There has been a great improvement with children arriving punctually.

Junior Enterprise Programme:

  • Lumi Numis and KSK (Kids Supporters Kit) are the companies for our school’s entry into the Junior Enterprise Programme. The two companies are working particularly hard at the moment. Each one has a sales team, marketing team, finance team, design team, production team and story telling team. We wish both companies from 6th class the best of luck. They will be selling their products in school during term 3. Updates from the Lumi Numis and KSK will be posted on the website.

  • The new Child Safeguarding law came into effect last December. Our school policy and Child Safeguarding statement has been changed in line with since March 11th.

Emergency Closures:

  • Thank you for your patience and understanding during the recent closures as a result of the red weather alert.     The staff will undertake the Child Protection training after school next week, meaning we will not be closing for a second half day. We will also prioritise teaching and learning over other activities to make up time lost.  There will be no change to our Easter holidays.

New Language Curriculum Training:

  • Reminder: A closure in the summer term, which you may wish to note for your calendar is Wednesday 9thMay when staff training in the new language curriculum is to be provided.

Safety at Drop off and Pick Up times:

  • We must remain vigilant regarding safety, at drop off and pick up times. In order to maintain a safe and free flowing system, we ask that cars do not stop on or block the middle lane.Children must use the pedestrian crossing and it would be appreciated if parents would also reinforce this message.
