Dear Parents and Guardians,
It is the time of year for our Panto, Nativity Plays and Christmas Singalongs which I hope you will all attend and enjoy.
There are a couple of points to note please.
Christmas Singalongs and Nativity Plays.
Please enter via the side door of the school where the children enter in the morning.
Park carefully.
Photographs and or videos are for private use only and not for sharing on social media.
Siblings will have the opportunity to see plays at other times and so we do not encourage siblings to be withdrawn from their class.
If you take your child home at the end of the performance that is your decision. You must sign them out as in any other instance in compliance with Health and Safety procedure. The school is open and in session.

Panto this weekend
This weekend also sees our wonderful panto performances. We hope to welcome as many of you there as possible. Thank you to Mr. O Boyle for leading this initiative and the Parents’ Council for their help and support. There has been a great deal of effort and time put in by our performers and staff preparing for “Snow White and the Seven Dudes”. Tickets are available from the office daily.
Please note the following:
Parking will be available in the basketball courts.
Children attending the panto are under parent supervision at all times.
During the interval tea and coffee will be served in the staff room. It is important that children are supervised by parents at this time for health and safety reasons and hot beverages are consumed in the staff room only.
Please turn off your mobile phones during the performances.
Outside of the hall area and staff room the rest of the school is out of bounds.
Photographs and or videos are for private use only and not for sharing on social media.
Children performing should bring a packed lunch and are not allowed to bring mobile phones.
Christmas Cards:
I have noticed many children distributing Christmas cards around their classes. If you choose for your child to engage in this tradition, please ensure that all pupils in the class are included as it can cause a child upset if they have not received a card. I ask you all to be mindful of this when considering distributing cards. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
We hope you enjoy all of the wonderful performances,
Le gach dea-ghuí,
Julie Dowd
