Friday January 27th saw the welcome return of an extremely important and much loved day in the Scoil Bhríde calendar. Seven classes from Junior Infants to second class and coiscéimeanna all welcomed their grandparent or senior friend to visit their classroom to chat and play games! The excitement in the school was palpable as the children excitedly prepared and welcomed their special visitors with open arms and lots of warm smiles.
The parents association welcomed our senior friends too in our ‘Halla Mór’ afterwards for some most welcome refreshments. Fifth class greeted our senior visitors upon arrival at the school. While sixth class were the photographer’s capturing this wonderful occasion for the entire school community.
