Rang a Sé have been keeping a very close eye on the Ryder Cup these past few days.
In Maths we studied the European and USA Ryder Cup teams to see if we could predict who would win. We studied the 12 players on each squad and graphed some information such as age, height, weight, ranking and experience of the players. After this, we examined outliers, if the data was skewed and the averages of each team. The children in 6th class are confident that based on the evidence, Europe have a great chance of winning. We wish all of the players luck in the tournament this weekend, but especially Shane Lowry and Rory McIlroy.
