Thank you to Mr O Boyle for posting and updating the website.

Today we are holding an infant parent coffee afternoon from 1:15pm until 2pm. This is to enable parents of current and incoming infants to get to know each other. We will hold an open day for incoming infants and parents later this term. Thank you to the Parents Council for facilitating this coffee afternoon.

Punctuality and Attendance:

Thank you for your support with morning punctuality. It has improved dramatically. Please only sign your child out of school early in case of family emergency, illness or medical appointment.

It is vital to ensure good attendance in school. Pupils who miss a significant number of days are reported to the Educational Welfare Officer as required by Tusla. Please ensure all absences are explained with a written note.

New Language Curriculum Training:

Reminder: A closure in the summer term, which you may wish to note for your calendar is Wednesday 9thMay when staff training in the new language curriculum is to be provided.

Safety at Drop off and Pick Up times:

We must remain vigilant regarding safety, at drop off and pick up times. In order to maintain a safe and free flowing system, we ask that cars do not stop on or block the middle lane. Children must use the pedestrian crossing and it would be appreciated if parents would continue to reinforce this message.

Le gach dea-ghuí,

Julie Dowd
