The Green Schools Committee held a “Green Travel Passport” competition to encourage children to use fuel free modes of transport at home. These fuel free modes of transport included cycling, walking, scooting or rollerblading. It was a two-week competition which ran from the 23rd April until the 7th May. Anytime a pupil used a fuel free mode of transport the kilometres that they travelled were recorded in their “Green Passport”. At the end of the two weeks the fuel free kilometres were added together to find the winners.
Well done to all who took part in the competition. It was great to see so many children using fuel free modes of transport. Congratulations to our winners. Remember to always be cool walk and cycle too!
